The snow has melted, the team has thawed out, and we're full steam ahead with the next stage of our project. We're delighted to share that The New Art Gallery Walsall will host the exhibition in the Community Gallery from 6th March – 12th April 2026.
The snow has melted, the team has thawed out and now we’re full steam ahead with the next stage of our project.
We’re delighted to share that The New Art Gallery Walsall will host the exhibition in the Community Gallery from 6th March – 12th April 2026. This will be far more than a display of finished photographs. The exhibition traces the entire journey of the project, from its earliest ideas through to the final images.
Throughout the shoot we gathered an extraordinary collection of props and costumes, many of which will be on display. Alongside the completed photographs, visitors will also experience selected film sequences and additional photographic material that reveal new layers of the work. It’s an immersive look at process as much as outcome.
We’ll begin with a preview evening on Thursday 5th March, 6–8pm, and everyone is warmly invited. It will be a chance to meet Billy, members of the crew, as well as the actors and volunteers who brought the project to life.
